BALFOR: Ukrainian Festival Appearances Announced

September 7, 2007

Ukrainians BALFOR, who play fast, melodious black metal which they themselves describe as "barbaric black metal," are set to play two festivals in their own country during September. September 8 will see them perform at the Not For Human Festival in Donetsk, followed by an appearance at the Dneprodym Festival in Dneprodzerzinsk on September 14.

BALFOR's recent decision to release the "Pure Barbaric" EP for free download has proved to be a wise one for the band, allowing them to reach a much wider audience than they would have had they self-released it as a promo; and has enabled them to establish a solid following not only amongst fans of black metal, but also death and viking metal. They are currently working on material for their new full-length album, and are looking for a label.

"Pure Barbaric", together with a video (see below) of the band playing live during their recent tour with SUIDAKRA, and all cover artwork can be downloaded for free from the band's web site at www.balfor.info.
